Question: Why does my mom that every girl loves fashion?
extreme makeover, what not to wear, fashion police, how do i look, and many other shows exploit predominately unfashionable woman who really do not care about their style and show them all across America and suit them in outfits that nobody the fashionistas would wear or can even afford.
so why does my mom still think that every girls love fashion?

How should we know? We don’t know your mom. We don’t know your mother’s upbringing, which is generally where a belief like that would come from. This isn’t really a Yahoo Answers question.
Also, what you said about those shows may be true, but the women that go on them agree to go on them. They are not really being exploited. If they didn’t want to go on the show and be on TV, they wouldn’t be shown “all across America”.
