Question: Puritan belief, rights, government, fashion, women’s rights during the 1700′s.?
I’ve been searching all over google, the history channel and so many websites and I need to write and essay for friday explaining the life of Puritans during the 1700′s I need enough detailed information like to write a to write a three page essay, can anyone help?

I’m guessing you are looking for information about Puritans in the New World. They settled the Massachusetts Bay Colony (links below).

In a nutshell, Puritans believed that the Church of England was still too close to the Roman Catholic church. They believed that Christmas should not be celebrated and they had their own views on mass and on living a simple life. They also believed that to be a member of the church, a person had to have a personal conversion experience.

Government: See the second link below, which has detailed information on this. They did believe that the church was inextricably woven into their government.

Personal rights: They didn’t believe in religious toleration; people who weren’t Puritans were banned and sometimes executed. They didn’t believe in economic independence either; they were kind of proto-Communists, although later their descendants embraced the doctrine of natural rights.
