I want to volunteer or get an internship . PLEASE HELP. ONLY MANHATTAN ! if i don’t get into anything with fashion i like writing or something. but i really want to have something to do with my time that has to do with fashion. it’s my dream & my passion. i want to be a designer or a marketer or something like that. but for now i just want to volunteer at some place special. please help?

I have a book full of internships because of my school. However the positions are for people in my school. Maybe I’ll see if I could get a list of the places and you can contact them independently.

It’s an online community for fashion designers to get feedback on their designs and meet other aspiring fashion designers. And if that doesn’t suit you, they have a Fashion News category for members to write articles and email them to designerbloc@gmail.com, if they like what you wrote, they will publish it to the website. omg i have the same problem, i am also a 14 year old freshman in New York City and i soo want to intern, i want to actually do a lot of things when i grow up and having my own line is one of them, i know this isnt an answerr sorry =, but if you find something please help, i have been looking around but most interns are college students only =[
There’s not usually internships for anyone young, inexperienced in the field of fashion designing. It’s a competitive field, difficult to get through. If you are vastly into that career path, take art classes and be sure you know how to draw extremely well.
