My wife believes that hosiery is still required with skirts and dresses and I disagree. We are both 30 and she is by no means old fashioned. Her take is that the hosiery “finishes” the outfit. While I do agree with her point, I think attitudes have changed.
I manage a team of 7, 5 of which are women in a professional dress environment and while skirts are worn, hosiery usually is not. I still think you can look professional without. What is your opinion on this fashion matter? Am I too casual or is my wife to formal?
In most places, hoisery is still considered more professional looking than being barelegged. Save that for the beach.
I think we’ve outgrown hoisery. As long as your skirt isn’t to short or revealing then your fine.
Besides, leggins are in now.
